Nawaf Alnawmasi is an associate professor of civil engineering at the University of Hail, Saudi Arabia. He holds a Ph.D. in civil engineering from the University of South Florida. His research focuses on transportation safety, traffic operations, crash data analysis, and advanced statistical modelling. He has served as a visiting professor at Queensland University of Technology (2022) and Texas A&M University (2024). Alnawmasi has published widely in top transportation journals and serves on the editorial board of Analytic Methods in Accident Research, contributing to global efforts to improve roadway safety and transportation system performance.
